Scrotal Lifts
This plastic surgery procedure (which is also called scrotum reduction) is designed to reduce and tighten excess skin and fascia that can result from natural aging processes, heredity or weight loss.
Like other parts of the body, a man’s scrotum will sag with age. In some cases, this can cause discomfort, especially if the testes hang down too far. Excessive hanging can chafe the skin and lead to pain during various forms of physical activity and strenuous exercise. If you are experiencing pain or irritation due to a sagging scrotum, our surgical techniques can help prevent discomfort and other medical problems.
Scrotox
In addition to our cosmetic scrotal lift surgical procedure, we also offer Scrotox treatments to help male patients who suffer from chronic contraction of the scrotal muscles. For many men, this condition results in the appearance of a small and high scrotum, along with high, or nearly hidden, testes.
The Scrotox cosmetic procedure uses the same botulinum toxin used in Botox to soften contracted folds in the scrotum, allowing high or tightened testicles to relax and leading to a scrotum that appears larger. Initially used as a specialized procedure to relieve pain in the scrotum due to inflammation, Scrotox is quickly becoming one of the more popular aesthetic procedures for men.
Surgical Procedures & Recovery Times
A scrotum lift, also known as a scrotal reduction, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that involves removing excess tissue from the scrotum. The amount of skin removed will depend on the individual, but the goal is to create a tighter, more aesthetically pleasing appearance. Scrotal lifts are generally considered safe procedures, with minimal risks and complications. This is due in part to the quality of skin on the scrotum, which tends to be very elastic and heals well. Most scrotal lifts can be completed in about an hour.
Scrotox is an injectable treatment that can temporarily change the appearance of your scrotum. It works by relaxing the muscles in the area, which can result in a reduction of wrinkles and a larger looking scrotum. The results of Scrotox typically last for 4-6 months, and the difference will become apparent within 1-2 weeks. A Scrotox treatment only takes about 20 minutes, and between 50-100 units of Scrotox are needed.
