Breast Implant Removal

Breast implant removal is a procedure that is increasingly in demand for women who want to go back to having a more natural appearance.

An explant procedure is straightforward. The plastic surgeon removes the implant from the breast, with or without the capsule that was naturally formed around the implant.

It is important to note that larger implants will have a larger effect on the breast than smaller ones would – deflation and sagging skin would be results from the skin & breast tissue.

Most of the time, this procedure is combined with a mastopexy and/or fat transfer to improve the shape of the breast.
