An explant procedure is straightforward. The plastic surgeon removes the implant from the breast, with or without the capsule that was naturally formed around the implant.
It is important to note that larger implants will have a larger effect on the breast than smaller ones would – deflation and sagging skin would be results from the skin & breast tissue.
