This technique involves removing a small, triangular section of tissue from the center portion of the labia minora. The incisions are discreet, the results look organic, and the scar is virtually invisible once healed.

Also known as the edge resection method, this approach involves trimming the outer edge of the labia minora to remove excess tissue or darkened skin. The result is a more symmetrical appearance, though it alters the natural edge more than the wedge technique.

In cases where there’s excess tissue not only along the labia minora but also around the clitoral hood, this advanced version of the wedge technique is used. The transition between the labia and the clitoral hood remains smooth, with incisions carefully hidden within natural folds.
