Eyelid Surgery

The excess skin and fat in the upper eyelids are resolved to remove the heavy, drooping skin of the eyelids. The surgery lasts approximately 1 hour and is performed under local anesthesia. The eyes can be kept open without any problem with the steristrip sticky type dressings applied to the incisions. After the procedure, there may be significant swelling.
